Heart House is a free afterschool program that provides a safe haven and academic support to children living in low-income neighbors in Austin, TX.  We provide an exceptionally enriching environment where "disguised learning" takes place by way of montly themes that the children help choose.  We are open year-round, including our two-month summer program, Camp Heart House.

Heart House Mission:  Heart House is a tightly woven family of dynamic staff, caring volunteers, community collaborators, and beloved children and families.  In our unique, student-centered neighborhood clubhouses, our exceptional afterschool and summer time programs provide academic support, encourage self-discovery and critical thinking skills, and helps students feel safe, valued, and enthusiastic about learning.
